You must have a current landlord reference, a job (or verification of income), and good credit. Failing to have any or all of these, you must have a co-signer who has a credit and rental or home-owning history.

Do you require a lease?

 
We do not require a lease. To move in, you must pay a deposit and your first month's rent. If you stay less than one year, you forfeit your entire deposit.

How much is the deposit?

 
For most apartments, the deposit is $300. Larger apartments require a larger deposit (usually $400 or $500).

 

bulletDo you allow pets? Cats are allowed, usually. Dogs are allowed where the owner can take the pet directly outside from his or her apartment without having to walk through a common hallway.

May I bring my own stove and refrigerator?

Certainly. In fact, we offer a $15 per month discount to anyone who furnishes his or her own refrigerator, and a $10 per month discount for providing a gas stove.

May I hook up a washer and dryer in my apartment?

No! We can't be more emphatic about this. None of our buildings is equipped to handle the stress of even a small washer/dryer combo unit. Most of the buildings that we manage have laundry facilities on the premises.
