The Westminster includes all linens, pots, pans, dishes, a full kitchen, Internet & WIFI, ironing board and iron, and much more. The apartment features an excellent quality queen-sized bed. Perfect for longer stays. Two-night minimum on weekends.

The apartment has dedicated internet with WIFI, and an antenna for local stations on the flat screen television. You are welcome to log into any streaming services to which you subscribe, through the Roku Box.

The Westminster is on the fifth floor of a seven story building. It is accessible by stairs or elevator.

We use dynamic pricing to ensure competitive rates. Sorry, while we all love them, we do not allow pets at the Westminster.

The location is across the street from St. Louis University and "20 minutes to anywhere," as the saying goes in St. Louis. Public transit (with direct connection to Metrolink, the region's light rail line) and Uber are easily accessible. Within walking distance is a 24-hour supermarket, theaters & entertainment, numerous restaurants, and coffee houses. This is an ideal location for discovering the best of St. Louis!

Guest Access:
The apartment is all yours! There is a shared coin-operated laundry room in the basement, and shared hallways with other guests and residents.

Parking:
Parking is first-come, first-served with a permit that you'll receive upon arrival. Please note that demand is greater than supply. If permit parking is already full, you may park at any nearby metered space at no charge between the hours of 7 PM and 8 AM Monday through Saturday, and all day on Sunday.

Other Things to Note:
The Westminster has window-unit air conditioning. We pull the air conditioner out of the window by the middle of November to clean it and store it for the winter. We reinstall the air conditioner in April. If you feel like you need an air conditioner outside of this schedule, please discuss with us. We will do our best to accommodate.

In the winter months, the heat is controlled by a central boiler that runs steam through the radiators. The boiler is scheduled to run 3 to 6 times a day, depending on the weather forecast. The Westminster also features a high quality space heater if you get too chilly between runs.

You may hear noise from the neighboring apartments, as the historic charm of the building does not include soundproof walls. If you are a late or light sleeper, we have earplugs in the apartment. We've had some guests complain about odors in the hallway, from residents who cook, smoke marijuana and/or cigarettes. We no longer rent to smokers, and want the building to be smoke-free! We have had this policy for eight years. However, when we instituted the policy, we did not force our residents who smoke to move. (Many residents who have lived in the building for decades.)

FAQ:
“How far is it to the Fox?” The Westminster is about 0.6 miles from the Fox. You should be able to walk there in 10-15 minutes. We’ve had lots of actors from the Fox stay with us!

"How far is it to the America's Convention Center?" This apartment is about 3 miles from the Center. It should be drivable in about 15 minutes, or you may take public transit.

“Is it safe?” Several of our staff members live in the building and have never had any problems. Owner Karen has lived just three blocks away for more than 30 years and absolutely loves her neighborhood! Anywhere you stay, whether in the city or county, you should be aware of your surroundings. Anywhere you park, you should never leave any valuables clearly visible.

    This place is a cozy little gem and I'll definitely be staying there again next time I'm in St. Louis. Karen and her team really go above and beyond to make your stay extra special by providing everything you'll need along with small little touches here and there that I really appreciated. It's centrally located in a great neighborhood with amazing architecture that's more on the quiet side but not far at all from the nightlife, restaurants, theaters, etc of Central West End, Grand Central, Midtown or Downtown. Check-in/out was a breeze and I had no issues at all. If public transit is important, there are several bus lines and Metrolink stations nearby that will help you get around however there is a bit within walking distance. Overall, a great place to stay for a weekend or even longer.

    What a lovely little apartment! Perfect for 1-2 people, great location, wonderful amenities! It's an older building but they've updated and decorated the apartment nicely. It's cozy and has everything you need to cook your own meals, which is great for people with food sensitivities like me. Also worth noting: there's a french cafe in the first level of the building, and a number of food options within walking distance, along with a CVS. I had no trouble parking in the permit spaces, but there's plenty of other parking nearby.

    This apartment has all the amenities. The kitchen is wonderful to cook in. The bed was very comfortable. The high-speed internet was definitely a plus along with the cable TV. The room temperature was always very comfortable and the ceiling fan created a nice gentle breeze.

    This is a beautiful little studio in Midtown, within walking distance of the Fox Theatre where I was working for two weeks. Karen the realtor was as helpful and accommodating as possible and I had a great experience there. There were only two things I wish I had known going in: one is that the apartment doesn't have blackout shades or curtains and the sun shines right onto the bed. Even with the blinds down, it's quite bright in the morning, which makes sleeping late difficult. The other is that I had a rental car and a parking permit to park across the street in the "permit only" spaces, but there are more permits than there are spaces. It's difficult to find parking at peak times. Just so renters with cars are aware. otherwise this apartment is fantastic and I would stay there again in a minute.

You have described the situation with permit parking beautifully. There are a couple of other parking options: After 7 p.m. and before 8 a.m., it is fine to park in metered spots near the building. For an additional fee, a parking garage with numbered spaces is available two doors east behind the Moolah Theater. We will update the descriptions for all accommodations at the Lindell Park Apartments to describe parking options in this increasingly desirable corner of St. Louis' Central West End.
